People resigning early

Anyone else experiences people resigning in slightly worse positions or even if they are winning and you are losing?

Sometimes I wonder if people resign because I take my time with making a move and don't play every move in five seconds. 

I play 15+10 rapid and people play crazy fast. I understand that people want to win quickly and don't have the patience to play 30+ minute game but it is a shame because most people at my level (around 1100) make big blunders and you just have to be patient and wait for them to make a mistake.

I know my opening theory and more often than not I get a better position from the opening, if not a winning position but even in winning positions I have been able to apply my knowledge of Botez Gambit and lose many games with it!

Never resign.
