Tournaments are such a cool feature I'm sure Chess.com is working on it (or keeping it in mind) anyway.

erik has said before that is part of the package being worked on for live chess. His programmers are tasked fully, and we will just have to be patient.
the new 'live chess' has many features that make it more enjoyable to a lot of the users - games tab, private chats, etc.
I'm certain of one thing: I don't have any influence on priorities for this site.
