Rating Options (min/max search parameters) Are Gone

Recently, I noticed that the option in live chess to set the min/max rating search parameters is gone for rated games.  I prefer to get matched with opponents with a stronger rating than me, but now I have no control over this.  What is the explanation for this change?

You're a little late to the party but these will catch you up:

Glad to help.  Note that you can still set a min/max by choosing "custom" in the drop down menu for choosing your preferred time control.  Problem is it may take a while before you get a game.

As long as you set it for 1, 3 minutes or 5 minutes without delay (as in 1+0, 3+0, 5+0,) you tend to find games quickly, as long as you are in certain ranges. I generally find a game in a minute or 2 but that is mostly because of my blitz rating on this site.

So basically, if you like playing 3+4 for some reason, you probably won't find a game for a very long time, especially if you are switching the rating class.

I personally set it for -20 and +500, that gives me the minimum amount of lost points vs. gained. Though I do occasionally get crushed (or draw/win) vs some high 2100's/2200s.

Really thanks for the help! I was a bit confused because I thought there was no min/max rating setting at all
