Sportsmanship

Chess.com should begin a "sportsmanship" rating on players.  Anytime someone runs (just lets their clock run out on purpose) from a losing position or uses bad language, the other player should be able to -1 them.  If they show REALLY great sportsmanship (like we all should) maybe have the ability to give them a +1 sportsmanship.

That way you could filter to only play others with a positive sportsmanship rating.  Those that get -10 should get a automatic mail about improving.  Those with a -50 should have their account suspended or something.

I think this is a good idea, the only problem is that I would be worried that people who I beat would minus me just for winning. I think you're totally right and there should be some sort of system but I would be worried about getting suspended because of bad losers. Also thanks for the game today

Besides, people disagree on what is "sportsmanship" and what is not.  For example, some people would give me a -1 because I waited "too long" to resign.  I think that many people here would feel offended if I continued playing against them when I am a piece down.
