You need the PGN, the FEN only describes a position, a PGN the whole game.

Thanks. Your youth may have been wasted but you are making up for it now. I copied the PGN by hand - I'm sure there's a cut-and-paste trick I'm missing, but it seems to be working.

THIS explains how to use the game editor.
To get a pgn from one of your own games here, click on Get PGN on the right side of the page. It will ask you to open or save. If you have a pgn viewer on your computer, just open it and copy the pgn. If not, save it and open it with notepad. From notepad you can copy the pgn and then paste it in the game editor.
To get a pgn from a posted game, click in the sqauare with the arrow in it under the game and choose Get Pgn, which will appear in a superimposed window. Just copy and paste it.

I am actually having trouble getting the dang thing to work at all, and I know how to use it. I am using google chrome for anyone who wants to help.

I would use Firefox over Chrome if I were you. The only feature of Chrome that I miss is the translate webpages function.

I have text/webpage translation capabilities in Firefox.
HERE.

How? A plugin? My Firefox is old, but I don't think it's that old.
Chrome just pops up with a banner saying something like: your default language is english, we translated the page for you.

I edited the above with this link: HERE.
Once it's installed, you can right-click and choose your poison.
I tried posting a game for the first time, using the in-house wizard. It asked for a FEN number which I input but the posting was just of the final position, not the whole sequence of moves. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
