Timing 10 minutes; Blitz or Rapid?

Hi all, i noticed that here 10 minutes is considerated "Blitz" .... but i know that a timing of 10 minutes is Rapid...or i wrong?

Ok, i found Fide time controls. 10 is Blitz.

I played 10 min blitz match & I won too. But at the end of the match I played 10 min rapid match as i missed to change the filter from rapid to blitz my rating point for rapid increase while blitz rating poing point remains unchanged.

I also just played a 10min game which I thought was always blitz, but it is now showing up in my record as a 10min rapid game.  Any idea what's going on?

chess.com changed the sistem. 10 min is now rapid

Yes but when I play the points appear like in blitz (1235 for mel and when the game finish the points counts in rapid (1397)

I always played 10min game.. and always as Blitz, but today when I played a 10min game, it changed my Rapid rate... so I believe chess.com changed.. now 10min game is Rapid not Blitz anymore

same thing happened to me too. When we issue a challenge it shows 10 min blits and blitz rating , but when the match ended, points are deducted/ increased under rapid.

so aomwthing is messed up on chess.com

Now it's OK, for the points, all is in rapid for 10min, during the game and when it's ended

Same happened to me. 10 mins is now mapped to rapid instead of blitz. Any suggestion how can we play 10min blitz

(Replying to #16): Check your inbox, chess.com has sent everyone a message informing with reasons that from now onwards, the 10 minute game will now be counted as rapid & not blitz.
