I just had the problem you mentioned in bug 1
I played a move and my opponents timier started running down , then 10 secs later mine timed out and his reverted back to the time he had before i moved
you could see on screen the last move completed was mine but i timed out!
wtf is going on!
I've seen the following bugs, both have appeared several times on different browsers.
1. Sometimes moves does not go in effect. It appears to the player that the move is done, and opponent's time is ticking. However the move is not received by the server, and instead it is the player's time that is running.
To verify this is going on: when opponent thinks a long think, it is possible to switch between simple and big boards. When the bug has happened, the position on the board is just as before the last move (but with a lot of time missing).
2. Sometimes there is no resign button! This is very annoying since there is no honest way to "get out" of a lost game (where your opponent is, say, promoting to his 5th knight). Abandoning the game probably works, but is not nice either.
The 2nd bug has only appeared on very low resolution screens (and possibly to do with the length of opponent's name -- longer the bigger the risk?). Also the 2nd bug appears more frequent than the 1st.
Is there any keyboard shortcut for resigning?
Where the Resign button is missing, which browser and version are you using?
As a premium member, if you type into the game chat area
/resign
it will resign the game for you
I just had the first problem you mentioned. I was in a game with at 10|5 time control, where I had 12 seconds on the clock when I moved, I watched my oppoent's time go down to zero. I make my next move via premove and sat for quite a while. Then it says I've disconnected. It reconnects, and it's all the same, 12 seconds on my clock, the same color for the premove I'm going to make, and no time on his clock. I sit a while. a long while. I hit refresh on my browser. it loads a blank page. I hit it again, and I get the game, he didn't move, and my time is out and he has time left.
