I was more excited when I heard that Alekhine beat Capablanca.
O yes, I remember when that happened. I was only a little kid back then, but I still remember the moment when Capablanca resigned his last game - the announcer on TV went wild, people were cheering in the streets and blocking the traffic, but the drivers didn't care because they were cheering along with them, and facebook and twitter had to be temporarily shut down because there was too much activity for the servers too handle (back then the internet wasn't as advanced as it is now). Too bad Alekhine couldn't hold onto his title for long, but of course there was no way he could have possibly defended his title against Fischer the year after.
