My Best Game in Live Chess:
Always watch for back row mate...Your opponent was perfectly fine with 21. Nc3. Winning position for white probably. It's a good thing that you are exploiting his mistakes.
It is hard not to fall in love with certain cheap-trick openings like 1.e4 e5 2.Qh5. I've had a torrid love affair with the Danish gambit for the past 4 years and have only recently started to grow up a little and play the Scotch. Like the posts mentioned above, the wackier openings only win you games until you start meeting really strong bullies who've booked up all the busts. If you want to scalp the stronger players consistently (not just a one-trick moment!) , you have to play things that are less flaky.
This opening got me in trouble a lot of times and yet i'm still using it.
Because Queen is my strong point and when i stick to the queen the other pieces are sometimes ignored. It's not balanced.
Try to balance out your pieces by taking out both Knights, a Bishop or two, then castle. like nuclearturkey and calamardo said try the italian game or King's pawn game. maybe the Queen's pawn game... XD
