Beginning on April 2, 2025, first Wednesday of each month at 4 pm to 5:30 pm. THERE will be a New over the board teenager group of chess . . . The location is the Santa Rosa, Coddling Towne Library.  I will supply all the chess boards, sets an d clocks. All the players will join Chess.com. All levels are welcome. Just drop in and join. . .

I have the 12 boards and pieces and Got clocks. Got 10 people signed up.

But I have 28 more boards. Teens are coming and adults are welcomed

April 2 Wednesday is the day . . .

I finally finished sorting all my chess sets. I have loaned the library 12 club sets including 12 clocks that use batteries I have at home 28 complete sets with mechanical clocks. Plus 6 more miscellaneous sets.

I only have one clock that adds 1 or 2 seconds per move.

The best board that I have I is made of butterfly wings. It was made in Brazil in the 1930's the have been placed in the endanger species so they aren't made anymore.
