Nice, SilverPanic. I knew the play had to be discovered check but I didn't see the discovered mate right away. Always look hard for the mate, then look again, is something I really have to ingrain. Thanks.
I think it's great to get some relatively straight forward puzzles out here, to mix in with the tougher ones.
Just as AquaMan saw the discovered check right away, so did I. Also like AquaMan, I did not at first see the discovered mate. I immediately saw the attack on Black's Rook on e8 with 34. Re7+. Good advice AquaMan: "Always look hard for the mate."
