Asorski Original Chess Problem No. 29

Sort:
Asorski

A few minutes ago a solver named Mannix74 solved my chess problem no. 28 so here I am presenting another Original Problem.

This time a 3-mover problem. I hope it's clean, free of cook!

Difficulty? Medium!

                        White mates in 3

Asorski

I admit it is very difficult to compose this problem as I must watch over open check options for both sides!

Happy solving...Goodluck!Cool

Very good puzzle Asorski. I have a chess engine because you have to pay for problemiste, right? The chess engine is called APwin. It is also the same as I use. Go here for the link: APwin

But it only works with Windows.

APwin uses Popeye to solve problems. This engine supports:

- Normal chess problems

- Helpmate

- Selfmate

- Reflexmate

- Fairy pieces

- Circe Conditions

You do need to understand a little bit about computers, and I would recommend reading the Full Installation of APwin v2012 + Popeye

After done this all you can make all kind of chess problems

APwin and Popeye are free

This is also the same engine I used for the WCCT challenge.

You're welcome. If you have problems, feel free to ask them Laughing.

By the way. Don't use problem above 3 moves or self- / helpmate with to much pieces. It can take a really long time before it is finished.

Asorski

Thanks again. You know I never make selfmate and helpmate problems. I have difficulties understanding the concept.

I'm happy now composing direct mates.Cool

Asorski

Please post your comments here.

Who knows, your nice and fine comments might be included in my book when these chess problems are published!Cool

Haha, you are right. I made them once and it took very long to make them Surprised. But after a few weeks i finished 1 puzzle Laughing.

Asorski

Maybe someday I will made some helpmate and selfmate. But today I stick to normal problems as they are more easy to make!Laughing

DangCit

Hmmm ... I think this is it, but it was the first combo I tried.

EDIT:  Nope,

Asorski

Thanks for solving but 1. Nd6+ Bf5+ 2. Ke1+ Nd4+!!Cool

You are too close... The moves are all forced!

DangCit

Oh, duh 3. Nde4#.

Can't believe I didn't see it the first time ;)

DangCit

Here's a diagram for it.

Asorski

CONGRATULATIONS to DangCit.

Two puzzles in a row!

You have solved this problem no. 29 and 30!

I sent you two trophies! Watch out for my other chess problems soon!Cool

DangCit

Thanks, Asorski.  Again, nice puzzle.

I find these types of puzzles especially hard because of the myriad threats.  After playing with it a bit, though, I was able to see all the pins and the rest just sort of fell into place.

Keep 'em coming ;)

OkCool

My nice idea in this problem is the check and countercheck by both sides!

For me this is a medium puzzle as there is no chance for other options. White must defend c4-square at all cost. Black's moves are all forced leading to mate.

I did not check this with a chess software. I hope there is no cook.

This puzzle is really easy to be honest. I know I am not a high ranking player but I saw this mate almost instantly. I only just saw this however. I will have to pay more attention to you, Ansorski. I will enjoy playing your puzzles

Asorski

kalavida, 1. Kg2+ Kxc4!!
