If they were going for length, then there aren't enough redundant moves.
If they were going for accuracy, then there are too many redundant moves.

This is a pretty famous composition by Josef Halumbirek published in 1955, often quoted in books, YouTube, forums... It's a sound problem with the task, White mates in 130 moves. So the solution in 135 moves given by the OP is not accurate (e.g. no point in repeating 22.Qe4+?; correct is 22.Qd2!).
