Hello,
your first move reported as incorrect is not a checkmate, white could block the check with their knight, bishop or queen.
Note that this position is not a double check, in which case it would be checkmate.

I really hate that there's no way to go back to a puzzle, or refer to it by some sort of ID number or something.
Anyway I was doing a puzzle under the "discovered check" category.
The answer I gave resulted in checkmate in 1 move, and it was counted as incorrect.
"Incorrect" Answer below. I'm pretty sure this is checkmate?
While the "correct" answer resulted in capturing the queen, but the king wasn't even in check at the end.
Your move is not even close to checkmate, it is only (discovered) check. The correct solution is also (discovered) check but it wins the queen as a reward.
Most puzzles are not about giving checkmate but about "playing the best move" as is the case here.
