Let's give other folks a chance and wait a bit...
Can white win?
yeah, white wins...
You have this thing about Knights, crazy, lol
Correct on both counts!
More interest would if you ask simple "Could white win?" - NO!
Because I would turn pawn to pawn and its according to rules!
Clarification for those still unsure about the outcome - this is a "white to play and mate in 2" problem!
that's not a zugzwang. The whole point of a zugzwang is that the only good option would be to pass (which is of course not possible). Here, even that would not help: Black gets mated even with no move.
black cannot solve the mating threat of Nb3 after making Ne3 first to stop the black king going to d1 any promotion make by black doesnt help him in avoiding mate

Even if this was in the rules (which it isn't, unless it is in the slightly different Russian rules of chess, I wouldn't know) it wouldn't do anything to prevent the checkmate.
lol and it does specifically say that the pawns are about to queen, so you must solve it that way. and Nytik, it WOULD, because the pawns TAKE the knight! duh
sorry actually they don't, but its not a mate in 2. they stop the checkmate because they threaten the "mating squares", like say Ne3? uh uh nope pawn will take the knight... get what i mean?

Sorry, no, I don't get what you mean. 1. Ne3 d1=P (not legal, but whatever) 2. Nb3#, same as with any other promotion.
how about Nd4, Kd1, its a draw.. so there is no win
That's probably why Ne3 is the correct move and not Nd4.

Nobody said anything about pawns going the other way, where did you read that? I don't see it anywhere.
Black pawns are about to queen, but can white still win?
