Good point, so rook king and knight.

Yep, that’s correct! The Rook and Knight can both jump! The Rook can castle, jumping over the King!

If you have a chess set with big pieces, bishops have to jump to go in between two pieces on squares that meet at a corner
Avatar of SacrifycedStoat
Big meaning their diameter is at least one third of the square root of 2 times the squares’ side lengths
Avatar of SacrifycedStoat
Since all pieces other than knight and rook can move diagonally, technically any piece can jump with the right chess set

I’m not gonna say you’re wrong, but in the spirit of the problem, I can’t really say you’re 100% right.

Like, you’re not wrong!

The Amazon is also correct (though I was originally referring to Standard Chess.) But sure, if we make Fairy pieces permissible, then you are right. On top of that, there are several more fairy pieces, like the camel, that can jump. The rook can also jump, as stated above, due to castling (which many people figured out.)

Hmmm… maybe pawns that can promote to knights.
