I find it funny because he didn't even write answer

puzzles only have 1 solution:

1...Qg2+ fails to mate.

If Qg2 - then Rxg2 and we lose the queen

the point is that 1...Qg2+  2.Rxg2 Nh3+  3.Kh1 fxg2+ is not mate, since the Nh3 no longer protects g2:  compare it with the solution.
