sniperghost360

easy but nice

Seems like any knight move or Qg8#

mobythewhitewhale

impossible puzzle 'cos white bishop would still be stuck behind the pawns

RyanMK

not if he promoted a pawn into a bishop.

KillaBeez

Or if the game was played on a torus.  Then the bishop could get there quite easily while that move would indeed be checkmate.

RyanMK

If the game was played on a torus, 1.Bxe8 would be the end of the game.

KillaBeez

True.  Totally forgot about that.  I really would like to play a game on a torus when you set only the bishops, knights, and rooks on the board.

I know he's looking for a "double check" mate, but it kind of defeats the purpose if there are several other mating moves that deliver checkmate and aren't double checks.
