If you are just showing us what happened, there is no point posting it as a puzzle. Just post it as a 'series of moves.' Otherwise we are just guessing at random moves.

This is very interesting but once you gat the first move correct you get hints to what the other moves should be.

You're right that it would save black...for a little while. But I think Sir David's move is better: Kd2. In the end, it just looks like you realized it was black to win in one, and putting him in check was the only game saving option. Black reacted to the initial check poorly.
This is a puzzle from my last live chess game, and this is exactly what happened. It was pure luck some would say, my opponent probably deserved the win but the mate is simply amazing. Black's last move was Bg1, preparing a mate with Rh2. I was in despair, thinking the game was lost. But there's a miraculous turn-around here for white, I found it-- can you? I'm not sure if this is forced, but it sure was lucky!
