if theyre like 3400 they set it low. i got 2900 before they changed the puzzles then i got 3500 and today i have them on extra hard and i almost got to 2800 but im at 2600 because i got tilted i think im about an intermediate player (my ratings are a crap shoot) when i got 2900 i think its about a 1200 point difference
It's sad that the entire puzzle rating system is (pardon my language'd) up now

3200 was my top score before the change. Then after the change it was easy to fly to 3700, but It doesn't mean anything other than that one is able to solve a string of low rated puzzles correctly. So I changed it back to extra hard because there's really no point in that.
Back to a 2900 score now.
Right now there are 43000 people globally who made it to a 3000 score (but not higher). That is completely different from what it used to be and the stated aim that chess.com had to bring people's puzzle ratings closer to their game ratings completely misses the mark.
The ability to set one's own difficulty level and then have those results mixed with everyone elses regardless of their difficulty setting is such a shame.
I have set my puzzle rating at extra hard, but since everyone's ratings are off like that, you can't really compare anymore how well you are doing compared to others.
ten thousands of people now easily reach the highest ratings.
Chess.com had something really nice that worked well and just from one day to another they decided to break it all.
