Mate in 3, quite tough.

This is one of my own compositions, I've posted it in  a few groups before, but there was a time in these forums where people pointed out all the time that White has many ways to win easily, why search for a hard mate in 3?

Lately, there seems to be greater tolerance for positions with ovewhelming material advantage, so I'll try again.

I was actually trying to work on a totally different idea, when I stumbled upon this:

White to play and mate in 3.

Hmm, I'll go away and think about this one. It'll probably be solved by the time I work it out, but hey...

Looks right to me. Beautiful problem, although quite easy once you realise that the c6 pawn must have a point to its existence..

Right!

I think Xylograph is absolutely right.......

But if we notice carefully another thing comes out ---

A) 1.Kd2 - stalemate

B) 1.Ne2+ Ke3  2.Kd1 - stalemate

C) 1.Ng2 - stalemate
