why cant it be mate in two ? instead of (2.Rg8)  Rg4 or Rg5 would be sufficient..

For Liji: Thats not mate in 2 even the way you said it, or anyother way, it can be easily stopped f6! Thats pretty obvious and I don't believe you missed it.
