If the board is flipped then it is an invalid puzzle. It gives incorrect information to any solver. Puzzles must still adhere to the rules of chess.

Case Closed. Now, post your hardest mate in 1's

If you do Qg6 then black can play hxg6. There is no mate in one.

Qg6 is legal and CORRECT!

It's clear you don't know the rules of chess. The white pieces always start on the first rank notated a1 .... h1. This is necessary to know the direction of pawn moves and the promotion squares. You can create your own fantasy world but don't be surprised when nobody gets it.

Checkmate with pawn

i did this yesterday in my chess club when we were practicing for a tournament except there wasnt as many pieces on the board they just had their king in a bad place. same file pawn though!

theoof11

just move the f pawn forward and promote to queen

ThebestA9player

thi is not a reverse puzzle the pawn moves UP

Pan_troglodites

First of all, please tell me,

1. who moves, black or white?
2. white moves up or down screen?

Considering that it is the way to the white moves and that  it moves to the top of the screen.

Answer:

Pawn from F7 goes to F8 and promote to a new queen.

If the board is flipped, the coordinates are flipped as well and 1. Qb3# is the correct solution (not Qg6 which is illegal).

Qg6 is legal and CORRECT!

hxg6
