Possible draw for white?!

I found this position in a tactic. Should be winning for black, but if you look closer... Can details show us a draw?

hmmm, maybe Qe5+, but I'm struggling to find anything after ....Ka8

King will escape on b7 probably...

Either draw by repetition or black would lose it.

I am not so sure because of interesting b&c pawns. What about 1.g6? Seems dangerous.

g6 is interesting!

edit: I posted before seeing IMphren's post

I haven't solved it, but 1.Qe5+ "almost" make it a draw. Need to improve 2 lines into a draw instead of loss (main line below and 8...Qb6)

Well, Black is definitely not into some trouble after 5.Nd4. Unless I am missing a fiendish defence, he is dead lost! So, he has to take the perpetual at the start.

Thanks for solving that mistery! 5.Nd4! is very impressive move.

pfren's line seems to be working to me. I agree it is beautiful.

But the best thing is, that engine can't see the draw until Nd4. I checked some variation later then, and came to the Nalimov with winning white. So early perpetual is the only chance I think.

This is quite cool. Though, I don't think Black has lost... yet.
