White to move and win

leongeorge075

When the knight moved forward, the pawn could have attacked the knight because it had support from the bishop. So why did the King move one up? Also it doesn't end in the white winning as the title states.

1...bxc2 2.Qb8 Ka2 3.Qb4 and mate on a4 (a similar thing happens if 1...Bxc2)

Also, it does end in white winning, because he's forcing mate.

Please look a bit more deeply.. If the pawn takes it´s 1.Qc7 Ka2 2.Qxc3.. And if the Bishop takes its 1.Qb8, and lets say ..b2+ 2.Kxc2 with mate to follow..After Nb4+ if King moves to a3 there`s many ways to win, for example 1.Qa8+ Kxb4 2.Qb7+ and so on..And like i already wrote, in the end position, there`s no defense against Nd4 to c2 or b3 mate...
