H O G W A S H
There's nothing H O G W A S H about it, I think it was a fun puzzle.

Yep, but I don't "share" my opinions with huge red letters.

Thats your choice . I just dont like impossible/ridiculous positions and think such positions are a waste of time to try and solve.
Nice idea! I liked that the ending wasn't just manoeuvring the knight round, black had another option, which still failed.
Yeah. There wasn't a way to avoid that double, so I put in the pawns to distract most people from it. ;)
that was a mind boggler.i bet in the whole world of chess games that there has never been a situation where there has been so many queens or rooks and at the end of the day it was a knight that won the game.!!!
No kidding? Maybe you should check your database to be sure?

This was from an actual game between crapotov (IM) and doesntknowtherulesovic (NM). In the game, crapotov played b8=bQ and lost, but I spotted the win so thought I'd post it as a puzzle.
I think he promoted his a-pawn to 16 other pawns, which thereafter turned around disguised as white pawns and started a march home, only to take their masks off on the home rank when there was seemingly nothing for Crapotov to do. What clever sausages.
Shame the Boshvinnig school had run out of resources in Crapotovs youth and hadn't been able to teach their youngsters these rudimentary K+8Q+10R+3N+2B+6p vs.K+4R+B+2p endgame positions.
