mine is like 38 I think? somewhere between like 32-40

Ein; Your best streak says 1075!!! Mine is 965, u beat me and I don't know anybody who has better than you! I am not sure, but I think the best streak number indicates the number of correct moves in a row. It makes most sense. I'm kinda happy someone else broke the 1000 or I should have tried to do it 😄

I think I am still the best woman in this leaderboard and Vrouwhaverkamp is also a woman at nr.3. Ein: u destroyed the hopes of women to lead in one aspect of chess in the world 😅 But whatever, life goes on 😁 It's always exciting to see someone beating a record! Check your puzzle stats if u are confused right now. I also discovered the stats later after my record & was very confused what the number even meant. Then I found a previous thread about the subject and checked & wrote down best records from that.

in puzzle rush, my high score is 44 and my best streak is also 44

Check your stats QueenSlide. I don't know for sure but I think it's the number of correct moves in a row. This is the only way at the moment to compare the public numbers so this is what we gotta work with. Also Savelii had the same situation of having around 40 puzzles but best streak says more. That number can't be the number of puzzles in a row, that we know, but number of moves is possible. The number one said he did over 400 puzzles in a row. I don't know my puzzles in a row number because I didn't count (classic mode on) but it's something over 300.

Yeah. The number is weird I know. And getting the huge number has not really helped me in any way. I just get paralyzed by the fear of answering wrong when I got such a great streak once... So I stopped doing normal puzzles altogether here after getting stuck on a hard one. Enjoy the puzzles as long as you can! I can still do daily or custom, but normal puzzles are ruined for me 😂🙈

There's some benefits of that time of my life being obsessed with puzzles so much. I am doing lessons now, done 100, and I remember the situations from puzzles that appear in the lessons so it's easier to complete those. And getting finally some answers why the puzzles are the way they are. Some moves made no sense but with explanations they make more sense. I have been able to recognize some similar situations from puzzles in timed games that I have put in practice and have been able to checkmate. In the case of learning the puzzles did help! It's never ideal to become obsessed with one subject so perhaps it was for the best to stop doing puzzles obsessively. The huge streak number was a wake up call.
