Looking at the profiles of the best players in the world I see that they rarely if ever do puzzles. Why not?

as titled players are way ahead than engines .

if you see titled players they make moves that a engine might not be able to predict . so puzzle for them is waste of time .

Some, such as Magnus, find them frustrating, because there's always only one correct move...even if one or more other (incorrect) moves are OK as well.

"Why can't I just do this! It's winning!"

because to achieve their high ratings they have already done tons of puzzles years ago. Now top players usually study openings only

exactly, someone like Magnus and other top GMs usually only calculate if a move is winning or not, unlike in puzzles that force you find the fastest win
