70s, 80s Music are superior to 2000s Music. And they rock the instruments. Some fans of 70s and 80s Music learn to play almost as good as the original.

And this one sings nice too.

I got dragged up in the eighties bong , the music I listened to at that time I still love , bands like Madness , Bob Marley and the Wailers , im biased of course as I think the music then was a gazillion times better than the ice cream van music cheesy quavers liked ,that came a decade later

here was the first record I bought (in 1981)

and still one of my fave songs

The start of 21st Century are filled with DANCERS, not musicians. Electronic voice tuners help. Nobody wants to practice 1000s of hours playing guitars, hitting the drums anymore. Those who practice became back up musicians of rap and hip hop stars.

Drummer Boy vs Rocky. My bet is on Drummer Boy. He is really great.

TomFinney1

you have to look beyond "the charts" to see musicians nowadays I guess

here's a cracking song by a bunch of buskers who live on a travellers site

I absolutely LOVE queen.

They were very unique for their era of music.

Oh, and I have to disagree that 21st century artists are now all dancers.
For instance Panic!at the disco uses a variety of instruments in their music, there really isn't too much "electronics" in their music. And when they play live it's really amazing.

ok so 70s music , well I wasn't into this at the time but I love it now , a song called hocus pocus by focus , which I think is the best music to do household cleaning to

TomFinney1

bet they had great fun rehearsing this song

I can't believe Highway Star can be covered. The Guitar Instrumental is classic to all guitar enthusiasts.

TomFinney1

well I do like 7 seas of rhye , delicious free sample , but im not fond of queen , I prefer pink Floyd from that time , but 7 seas is a good tune and not the usual you would expect from queen

Among Queens hits, Don't Stop Me Now is my favorite. Freddy shows his piano talent.

some bands remain timeless , Hawkwind ,Pink Floyd , The Doors all spring to mind , and this bunch have stood the test of time

Grandpa's singing and playing instruments really create nostalgia. Who won't listen with joy?

bong711

While everyone was crazy of the Beatles, I wasn't. Chicago is my favorite band. The beautiful voice of Peter Cetera is irresistible.

And who can forget Stairway to Heaven? It is one of the all time greatest hits.
