Those movie are dramatic and I'm sentimental and I enjoyed the movie was tender in places.
The cinema had these loud vibrations going on and your chair shook which was kind of cool.
My son wasn't behaving. He's so naughty I'm beginning to wonder if I'll confine him to the house one day.
Making silly noises and waving his hands about!
Tom, I was just curious.. Do you view your time, spent long ago, in school, 'studying', 'Algebra' & 'foriegn language' as a near total waste of time, {as I did}, based on what you learned ?
Looking back.. I think, I would've been wiser, to have 'dropped out' of {public}, school.. {about the 9th grade}.. Then to have had, to been exposed to 'Much, 'neither, here-nor-there' theory - Re. 'required' school 'subjects'.. that, neither interested me, Nor contributed, to my 'social' interactive abilities.. Which, I regard, as Still deficient.. In some measure, relating to knowing the Real world, social opportunities, that are 'out there'. {locally, of course}.. for an unattached 'mid-sixtyish' 'male'.. And, being, unimpressed, by the options.. Besides, the various, 'Internet' diversions. ..{ouch! ..a {damning?}, confessional of sorts}.
Ps. As for my 'fundamentalist' online personna?! .. To some unquantified degree.. It's my intellectual diversion, which I probably have 'over-developed' - Perhaps, the 'mirror-image' opposite, life-story, of your own!?
Cheers, Anyway!
I think it's true that perhaps school maybe should help people develop into responsible functional adults.
It's strange to me that society imprisons people on the basis of law but makes no effort to educate its citizens as to what the law actually is.
I do think that education is often poorly constructed. I mean history ought to be fascinating but I recall an exam question on crop fields.
I'm curious Ed whether you'd like to meet a lovely lady or not.
The Only 'lovely ladies' are in my 'non-physical-paradigm' future.. When, among other things.. The 'elephant-in-the-living-room' unspoken question, of .."Does it 'pencil out' financially"?, answer - Will Not be, a resounding, 'No'! ..{ty, 'Tom' for your comments}.
Unrelated.. If, you access, "Valentina Gunina" 'Russian' woman 'GM', {on 'Google-images'}.. and with the 'smashing' won-loss-draw' record, in the recent, top-level, "London, 'Rapid-Play', chess tourney".. She Has to be, the happiest woman chessplayer, alive! ..Based, on the extensive number of pictures of herself, 'online' there..'Smiling'! .. And quite often, irrepressibly!
"Valentina Gunina", standing.. below.

Well Ed I think you are a sweet guy and any lady would be happy to know you.
Maybe you should play the lady that posts here recently. She's nice. Lovely company.
It's lovely to see my son smiling. I can't really afford this Kung Fu class though. 50 pound per month. Wow!
I know you've a point. My wife has said that too. Also when you are enjoying something it drives you crazy to stop.
I have a hair trigger temper. He's pulling his sister's hair and I flip and lose my cool. I get so guilty.
I realise I need to deal with my own temper before his.
Does anyone know how to control a temper where you just lose the plot for a bit?
I've heard people count to ten. Take deep breaths.
I think I wouldn't know it was about to happen. The other day my wife said I knew you were going to flip!
