Never go Mac
Macs are a waste of money
I recommend an Asus laptop they have good ones for the price
Tuf f17 by them is really solid and you can change the internals based on your price range and how powerful you need it
Or do that true
Desktops are always way better obviously but you lose the portability so it depends on your use case
