whoopi !
A tad chilly
I think any time you post info about how hot it is right now in Perth you should also tell us the current status of your beer supply so we know how sorry to feel for you.
This is the coldest night of the year so far, currently (-13)°F [-25°C] at ~2:20 a.m., with a 15 mph wind. The wind part is nice, compared to the 30-35 mph wind through most of yesterday afternoon. It might get a degree or two colder yet tonight but the current model shows the temperature holding at about this point until sunrise. Today's projected high T is +2°F .

With more action like that going on in the Soo, maybe I wouldn't be forced to look to Siberia to get my snow and cold fix.
I bet when you think of Siberia, you don't think of sand dunes!

It's midway through the noon hour and the temperature in the Soo has climbed up to (-8)°F . It finally bottomed out at (-18)°F [-27.8°C] about 5 hours ago.
Damn! I just walked home from the cinema half an hour ago and I was wearing a T-shirt! And people here complain because there is a drizzle.
This is from a 50+ vehicle pile-up on I-78 in Pennsylvania today. I've seen better choices for brand names than "Inedible animal food".

I guess you could walk around in just a t-shirt here too, but I don't think you'd like it much right now . . .
Nothing is inedible if you deep fry it in enough batter.
But you can't get it too crunchy or all the people with no teeth have problems.
Here's a whopper 404.2 carat diamond found recently in Angola. It's been classified as Type IIa (1% to 2% of natural diamonds are Type IIa), which indicates it's essentially free of impurities. According to the Lucapa Diamond Company this is the 27th largest diamond ever found. Figures from $14 million to $20 million dollars are being tossed around as potential values, but it will likely be quite a while before it's decided how to cut it up most efficiently.
