regarding greg kihn (yes, from weeks ago)...

i read an interview he did many years ago. he was asked about the breakup song, of course, and he described it this way-

the song was not finished. all those parts where he "sings" ah, ah, ah, ah, ah....

well, the band had recorded it that way with the intention that they would come up with more meaningful lyrics. then, one day while driving, greg kihn hears the song on the radio. it became a hit and they never changed it.

The music is good, that is one of the only things bringing me back to the thread. Mate, it is second only to the irresistible charm of @HessianWarrior
