A Thread About Nothing
They didn't just get rid of Colbert, they scrapped the whole "Late Night" show model that David Letterman started after he didn't get The Tonight Show when Carson died. There have been grumbles over the decades that the late night talk show format was stale and should go. I used to watch these things but now they're on after my bedtime.
I think I already ranted about how Colbert wasn't funny anymore. Nor the other late night folks. It just became a trump replay. Trump provided all the material. They should be paying him.

that infers the hosts are not funny without the clown to make fun of, and i disagree with that.
i could also say they have paid him. millions.

They've definitely gotten lazier. The clown takes so little effort to make fun of.
They have paid him millions but not for the comedy material
They've definitely gotten lazier.
i would disagree with this, too.
late night hosts always make fun of potus, and, sure, fat cheeto is a much easier target, but, they all made fun of 46. and 44. and so on.
i'm not going to point out the ways they entertain, but i certainly don't think they have become lazier.
The last page had us talking about CBS's Stephen Colbert's cancellation. Here's what Jamie Lee Curtis has to say about it. With the de-funding of NPR, & PBS, their trying to silence us.

AL,....a story I read awhile back. Many yrs after Syd Barrett left Pink Floyd, the band was in the studio working on something. Abbey Road studios can be a busy place with all kinds of people coming & going on any given day. Syd came in to work on something also. After finishing, he goes down the hall, walks in the Floyd room and just quietly looks around. About 1/2 hr later he leaves. About 20 mins later someone said,..."was that Syd"?
.....they couldn't even recognize him.
I just thought that was sad. You put a lot of work into running a band and yrs later they don't even know him.
