Einstein believed that there is no freedom of choice, rather that everything is destined to happen through causality, but very few people accept this idea. Anyone else who does?

Why would there be any such thing as a criminal action if people had no more choice in what they do than a robot?

So everything has a cause. Criminal action happens because of such things as negative role models, lack of education, and mental illness. Criminologist don't believe in a supernatural evil. Rather that people fall through the cracks of society.

I have a similar belief in determinism, but one cannot ignore the validity of quantum mechanics. Thus, nature is not absolutely determined but statistically determined.
