Some people are reporting notification problems on IOS apps with daily games. We're also having weird notification issues in the forums. I wonder if these problems are connected?
Could be using the same computer for both or CC.'s system has a glitch?

There was a post by staff in the beta forums acknowledging there was a bug with notifications and it was being worked on.

On the other hand, having beta work affect general access is unprofessional. There should be some sandboxing here. Chess.com technical management needs to take courses in release & customer experience management.

I don't think it was beta related and was just something to do with how notifications are handled that was brought up there and staff replied to it. Things that are in beta don't usually impact the regular site and from what I could tell, from topics, was that the issue was site wide and impacted the apps too, which all apparently use the same infrastructure, which makes sense.
the posts about notifications being buggy is an example of why i started my topic about us being frustrated. we get zero answers from staff. in my topics, staff ignores virtually every question about site functions.
regarding the wacko notifications, i sent in a ticket and the response was that the issue must be on my end since staff had seen no other complaints about it.

I don't know when you posted your ticket, but it may have been before any one else noticed a issue, and no staff were seeing the issue at that point.
