There is an ancient saying in America, "The television is a lie". I suggest that you disregard the Ancient Alien television series and instead read eye-witness testimony on the Internet. Go to NICAP or MUFON or search for reports of the phenomenon from the 40s, 50s, and all the way up to the present.

I had never heard of what happened to this guy. An amazing story. And he stuck to it till he died in 1992. The jokes about wearing an intergalactic condom are hard to resist:

I thought the interview part was fine, but "the galactic federation of light" stuff afterwards I didn't finish. It sounded like a sci-fi movie. Obviously people attach fantasy elements to the UFO phenomenon quite a bit. Criticism of the U.F.O phenomenon usually is a criticism of fantasy elements people attach to it.

Arizona, 1997, there was a sighting of a large string of lights that turned out to be military flares.  However thousands of witnesses saw a v-shaped craft flying very low and slow and silently over most of the state.  I think waht happened is that when the military discovered that it was powerless over this vehicle, they figured it would be best to try to recreate something to muddy the waters.  The military is not comfortable admitting that it is powerless over these visitations.  It's natural for them to create a diversion so these space ships can have plausable deniability.

After reading countless reports and many books on UFOs I have come to the conclusion that there are in fact space aliens who have visited our earth in the past and they are here now and in contact with the president of the US and also the heads of state of many of other countries throughout the world. I believe that life did not first evolve here on earth but did first evolve on other planets. Intelligent beings from one or more of those planets discovered a way to travel faster than light, possibly through worm holes or some such. They planted life here on earth and saw to it that the primates and then us humans evolved and they guided our civilizations to its present point. The purpose of all this? They are interested in our DNA. Because they are such an old race they have become inbred and in order to continue their civilization they need to hybridize themselves with other beings. And so they are here on earth now to conduct hybridization experiments. They want to keep all this secret because if the public found out about them there could well be  widespread panic. The good news is that the earth is not likely to be attacked by space aliens seeking to destroy us all as is depicted in many SF movies because this would be counter to the purposes.
