Andrews Tates father was a IM what was Andrew Tates chess.com rating?

IM Emory Tate (according to a quick Google search) had a FIDE rating of 2206 in classical time control (blitz slightly higher). However, just because a parent is good at chess, that doesn't mean the child necessarily picks up the skill. Chess is more pattern-recognition and practice.

I don't know what Andrew Tate's chess rating would be (certainly isn't the many impersonation accounts on chess.com [which aren't allowed btw]), but from what I've seen from him, I'd estimate his chess rating is 1500-1800 range. This is still really good. That is higher than roughly 90-95% of all chess players even though players like this is far below titled player level such as IM Emory Tate.

Emory Tate was capable of playing well above his rating, it's just that he couldn't play at that level consistently over an extended period of time.

Both of Anna Cramling's parents are GMs, but she's only a WFM at this point - still very good, of course, but definitely not GM level.

I knew Emory. He topped out a little over 2400. He had several wins over GMs, but never became one himself. His style and personality probably kept him from getting there. He didn’t have it in him to grind out a one pawn win. He wanted to win with style. He had a big rivalry with Maurice Ashley. He once told me “When Maurice looks me in the eye, he knows who’s better.”

Your quick google search is off by a whopping 300 points. Or you made a typo, which is more likely.

Don’t let Andrew Tate fool you.

Andrew Tate gets hate for a reason. He’s said r*** victims are responsible for their attacks, women belong in the home, he’s talked about hitting and choking women, and that he dates 18-19yos because they’re easy to mold.

He’s being investigated for serious crimes. Ones he left the UK for Romania to escape the investigation they had going against him for all the things he’s currently accused of in Romania.

Plus, women hate him. We all hate him and so you thinking he knows anything about what women want is ridiculous. We don’t want him. And we don’t want anyone who likes him.

So who cares if he’s good at chess?

He sucked at chess compared to his dad. He was abt 1600 and got banned. People also are fairly sure he was cheating.
