It was more of a hop.

Some people permanently have the hump it seems. Interestingly though, these same folk often seem to be in denial about it...

BlargDragon

Without mine, I wouldn't last very long in the desert.

Nikprit

That was a great movie Ghosty.

Yes denial, repression & splitting are common.

Also projected identification, whereby we attribute something inside ourselves to someone else. But we often deny we are part of the problem, because we deny the very emotion that we can see in the other.

Therefore, it ends up becoming a vicious circle.

Or a 'blame-rage' dynamic. And around & around it goes.

Nikprit

Hey Kaynight nice to see you. I have a theory why so many people seem to get angry with you. But I could be wrong - I often am.

Hey Blargdragon - you sound like you have a sense of humour. But I could be wrong - I often am. Sealed

Estren

I have a theory that most online anger comes from people who normally are quiet and shy. Like myself. My voice is so low that I couldn't even scream if I wanted to.

Nikprit

Well as you know Ersten anger is a normal emotion.

Interesting on here though that so many people get so angry so often. Like they are firing on anger, a lot of the time, in every forum they go into.

So what are you saying there is a lot of 'repressed anger' on here?

Senior-Lazarus_Long

It could be worse.

Nikprit

Oh Snow White is back Sealed Not sure what you mean by 'living in infrared'. Nice pic though.

Hey Snr. Yes, could be better too, I think dinosaurs died out about 160 million yrs ago. Times move on. Racquel Welsh was not around when they were Sealed

Your pic at post 32 didn't come up this side.

Agreed, and one that featured the gloriously lovely, delightful and talented Teri Garr - a most underrated actor in my opinion.

Playing the beautiful but blank and dizzy blonde might seem like an easy gig but I'm pretty sure it isn't - Garr made it look effortless in Young Frankenstein:

I must say though, what I most admire about Teri Garr is that she still manages to present that radiant smile of hers, despite a long and tortuous battle against MS:

I'm getting angry.

Easy enough for you Ersten - go meditate on it.

Or do you want to talk about it?

Estren

No, I want to toss and turn in my sleep.

Sigmund Freud said: "The first human being who hurled an insult instead of a rock was the true founder of civilization."  This is so because civilization is a triumph of mind over matter, of reason over instinct and of the distinctly human over mankind's animal nature. These are what have made possible civilization, as well as culture, its constant and necessary companion.

Anger is just the manifestation of frustration,in the same way that hatred is the manifestation of fear. Stop doing that. You'll feel better.

Ghostliner

And you're a bloody rotter by the way OP, I was hoping to use this animation first!

Hey ho, it's so good we'll present it twice:

Wow! I like that.

Estren

Easy for Freud to say - in those days our civilization still had a future.

Clovis Leachman was also in the movie. She done 3 Mel Brooks movies. Funny actress. She was great in High Anxiety too.
