I agree with Tryst. The U.S. war machine wish to come across as the victim, after invading a string of dirt poor countries.

1st. My comment in no way was meant to start a political discussion. It was misinterpreted. Take it how ever you want.

2nd. A clarification needs to be reiterated. No one's account was hacked. The investigation is about 2 accounts being impersonated. One suspect has successfully in the recent past shown this is not uncommon and is quite possible by creating a whole thread regarding a who is who caper.

Someone closely copied Firstplays username , his profile, creating a new account and posted a long drawn out apology to CC and FRENCHBASHER. Next came another impersonated account from FRENCHBASHER apologizing to CC and FirstpIay.

Sorry, mdinnerspace, I always get thorny on Memorial Day weekend. God and War are having events all weekend long where I live. 

when you say closely what do you mean?  Is there a discernable difference or have the accounts been cloned entirely? 

Username was not the same. Well known keyboard tricks used to make the new name appear to the naked eye as being the same. Profile pic and about me description is easily copied. Much was not / cannot? be copied such as games and activity.

The real violation is opening up multiple accounts on the same computer, strictly against ToA's. Technically, I presume it is also against the ToA for the same person to start a new account on a 2nd comp. Established GM'S are allowed 2 accounts.

Protect your password. Obviously if someone knows it they can log in as you. This was not the case here as CC quickly deleted the new impersonated accounts.

@1345 Ron do you recall that movie classic 'It's a Mad Mad World'?  This thread has been like that, I have been trying to make sense of it all - then quickly gave up.  

But your post reminds me that we need a recap of we are at right now in this  mad cap comedy, mystery, crime caper of who done it, where and how.  

This thread will boggle your dog's brain & we have even had a man who wrote to us to beg to stop, as he reckons he had laughed so hard, that one of his testicles had exploded.

There are now 6 people remaining who are on the Usual Suspects list who may or may not have hacked/faked 2 different accounts.
