Im sure all cultures look up at the stars a bit as you put it. Asisde from everyting thats been said have you thought about why they do that? Why humans feel as though they belong up in the stars? Or why ancient civilisations wherever they were on the planet regardless of whether or not they met each other, felt the need to map the heavens instead of building the worlds first disneyland? Why did they build such megalithic structures that aligned perfectly with the constellations and from where did they obtain this knowledge? Especially in Sumer when the worlds first civilisation seemed to just sprout from the sand all of a sudden? Why did the Incans claim that their pyramids were built by the gods? Why did Egypts pharoahs claim descendancy from the gods? Why were their gods depicted so similarly? How did the Sumerians know of planets we only were able to see in the last 100yrs. How were such huge stones dragged up mountains at machu picchu? How was a mountain levelled in Peru and why were the nazca lines put there and by who when the best way to see them is from the air. My astronomical knowledge isnt the best if im being honest but there are other areas i can talk about which still defy explaination. If you have any answers for any of the above id be happy to hear them and discuss them iin a more grown up manner if you are willing. Truce?
