Any hints for a career?

I found that all through High School I was being forced to consider future career plans. Noone ever considered that I might not go to University. I eventually gave up trying to imagine what sort of person I was going to be in 10, 20, 30 years time and dropped out of my final year to go travelling around New Zealand.
Probably the best decision I've ever made, I found that as soon as I was out of the school environment I could look at what I actually enjoyed without the pressure of having to choose subjects which would affect the rest of my career. From the things I realised I enjoyed I then went to see what people would actually be willing to pay me to do.
In short, I really don't understand a system that forces you to make changes at the age of 14, 16 and 17 which will affect the rest of your life.
And don't be afraid to go against what people expect of you, achievement is a wholly personal thing. Not everyone is suited to further study, and a lot of smart people do 'normal' jobs because they actually prefer them.
So my advice would be to take your time, perhaps a gap year would allow you to try different sorts of jobs and give you some good experience.
I have a feeling I went a bit off topic there and didn't really answer the question...

Get friendly with computers. They're ubiquitous in jobs that pay well. And you can complete your AA (first two years of college) before choosing a profession.

The question you need to answer first is, are you trying to figure out how to make a living, or how to make a life? This is an important distinction. Consider this idea: You steal radio from car, and sell for $35. Other idea: You work a job with constructive purpose, you make $35. Either path, $35 is the living you make. Now is important idea of making life. Which path is in accordance with the LIFE you want to make. So do not concern yourself with the mechanics of making money, instead focus your mind on self, and do not let go for one instant. In each one of us is an innate state of loving kindness, and when you clear distraction, and find your self, then no other person will be needed to answer this question of what to be. It is not a question of what to become, you are already it! The skills and the proffession that brings this out of you will become obvious to you after reflection. Thank you for reading this, I hope it is helpful to you.

I'm in the same boat, entering 12th grade. Try becoming an intern or a volunteer, I am an intern at a local newspaper and it has helped me decide on a career path- specifically, one that is not related to journalism. LOL but it is still good, fun at times and I'm getting overall experience that will help with any job.
Hmmm... I am in High School but have no idea about what I want to be. I am good at science and math, but not so good with computers. Does anybody know any cool proffesions that I could look into?
