Anybody playing EvE Online or X3: Terran Conflict?

Whenever the cold weather arrives, my mind invariably drifts towards games that take place in the frozen depths of space. Anybody play EvE Online or X3: Terran Conflict? These are my two 'go-to' games. Both provide an experience like something out of Cowboy Bebop.
BTW: X3 has been updated. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, though. I just re-subed to EvE, so I might as well get my money's worth before I jump back into X3.
