I think it Is a bad idea to compleatly ban any discussion of religion and politics. Because there are more users here now there needs to be moderation. The mods should be working to stop cheaters. Instead of wasting moderation time just to lock threads related to religion and politics. Completely banning religion and politics is a little overly strict and useless because people will just post more forums anyway.

It used to work that way for about two months after the creation of OTF, but we quickly proved to Erik that we couldn't discuss these topics without being total jerks about it, and the discussions always erupted into stupid rants and people blocking others every which way. The moderation on these types of topics is to keep this a safe and friendly place, instead of a forum where the whole front page is "TRUMP SUCKS AND YOU ARE STUPID IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE"
