Appropriate "OFF TOPIC" topics?

I think thats a good idea, but I don’t think itd help or work. (As coconut said) nobody’s gonna take it seriously. Its probably going to die after a few days. Also, its usually pretty clear who will or can argue with you and who cannot. I mean, most people know who to argue with (not the eleven year old who said skibidi rizzler) and develop “relations” with them. Such (as I will call them) intellectuals can usually find each other and as a result, its usually not too hard to make a club or just messages with them instead of having a forum. Of course, then it kind of makes closed off communities as opposed to public discussions as on the forums but it still accomplishes the same goal
#276 I unfortunately, believe it would die, despite my desire for a full "anything argument thread" to exist. I've wanted to start one, but I've never had the right time. If I could possibly have Erik's permissions to make a thread with religion and politics (assuming, ofc, I block anyone who makes a childish argument rather than actual debate, to keep tantrums from happening), I might make one. Just a theoretical, though.

Personally, I agree with Benjamin, it would be nice to have some place to argue about politics and religion, but there'd be no point unless people actually debated logically, as Coconuts pointed out.
