like to see you try and kill gavinator and yereslov's threads.
Are you a thread killer?

Thread killers are very rare. The first known thread killer posted off-colour humour in various breakfast cereal threads. Due to an American's anticipated misspelling of the word "cereal", the first thread killer was imprisoned for multiple homicides.

Luckily, I've managed to avoid the heat. However, the cornmeal mush/polenta thread was a close call.

If you were able to kill a cornmeal mush/polenta thread, which in theory should have had over a thousand comments, then you may be an actual thread killer!

I have successfully shut down trolls by droning on and on in their threads and then posting country music from the 60's. If you're begining to feel sleepy or slightly nauseous, I apologize.

That awful song you posted in Yereslov's Immortal was so bad that I looked up Arthur Godfrey. I found out that he actually fired someone on air during his radio program back in the fifties

The way he sings, he should have fired himself!

I'm still reading about Arthur Godfrey! He was the inspiration for the movie, "A Face in the Crowd"(1957), and I saw that. It starred Andy Griffith and Patricia Neal. It's not a flattering movie for him. It basically shows him as a megalomaniac!

@Sharon, I saw that movie too. Not flattering at all!
I think it's important to remember - even to honor - the role thread killers have in combating really intransigent trolls. I took a couple dozen dedicated thread killers more than 3 months to wear down Windows 7 in some of his threads. We've had some real battles with Haywood/WellRead/Shamata too. I salute this hearty band of troll fighters! Their important work is not often acknowledged.

Wow, you guys talking about Arthur Godfrey like nobody ever heard of him! He once had two shows in the top 10 simultaneously! Try equaling that, Survivor-breath!
Sometimes I will post a music video in a busy thread, and it will stand for days without response. I write very clever posts with the same result. I, my friends, am a thread killer. Does anyone share my affliction? I'm not really expecting a response.
