Like Val said, symptoms won’t appear until after 3 days of getting it. And another thing, just because vaccinated people won’t die from it and are unlikely to receive it doesn’t mean they can’t which increases the chances of it spreading

You have to remember, the vaccine was made in 2 years, most vaccines take 10 years to make, it’s not gonna be perfect but it’s not useless and very helpful.
