I must confess that I have no clue Embarassed. I have a professor that is very passionate about Russian literature that has mentioned that character name super briefly in passing, but he said above all that I had to read the book because it literally saved his life. I suppose that you could say that I am looking forward reading it Smilesooner rather than later. So don't spoil it please Laughing. I'll let you know when I know.

I wouldn't worry too much about spoilers when it comes to The Brothers Karamazov.  My first question was along the same lines as those that followed, with the exception of number 5.

I've read the damned thing three times and after each reading, I've been properly convinced that the murder wasn't who I thought it was upon completion of the previous reading.

The one thing I'm convinced of, though:  it ain't Smerdyakov.

Ok I see. I am certainly looking forward to it then. The only Dostoyevksi I've read was Notes from Underground and I loved it, but all the cool kids seem be saying that The Brothers Karamazov is much better and different, so once I finish my summer classes up, I'll have to get a look at it.

I finish 65.3% of 32.6% of the books I begin that are written by russians named Vladimir or Boris. This is often accompanied by a tray of sardines and deli meat and vodka.
