Here it's explained. Elon says the AE thing is pronounced "ash" but Grimes says it's "AI", not sure why they're not on the same page there but she apparently came up with the first half of the baby's name. And no, they didn't draw on his face with a marker. That's a filter to make him look like he's got face tattoos.
