Her husband survived by clinging to a tree, but the woman and their dogs were apparently swept away. Searches are underway.

that is unfortunate. especially with the sensors that are supposed to be early warning signs. i am regularly amazed how these volcanic eruptions have influence around the globe. the recent eruptions in spain and iceland show how they can disrupt our daily lives.
